A Board of Directors is a requirement for non-profit status and is mandated by the PDGA Bylaws. In addition to semi-annual summit meetings, the board and staff conduct monthly teleconference calls and ongoing communication to accomplish required business.
In accordance with the PDGA Bylaws, two at-large Board member positions were up for election in 2017, currently held by Rebecca Duffy #33115 and Robert Decker #17745. The two candidates who obtained the most votes in our annual elections will secure office and serve 3-year terms from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2020.
It's important to note that Rebecca Duffy currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors. With her position being replaced, a new President will be selected by the Board members in September.
