Here’s How To Host a Katrina Relief Event
- Tournaments may be one or two day, Singles or Doubles C tier events held between September 23 and December 4, 2005.
- The event must be a new listing on the PDGA Tour calendar with dates approved by the PDGA State Coordinators.
- A special sanctioning agreement must be submitted and can be obtained here or call Dave Gentry at 706-261-6342. The $50 sanctioning fee will be waived, insurance will be offered free of charge.
- Event reports and fees will be submitted in a timely fashion per the terms of sanctioning. All player and non-current fees received by the PDGA will be donated to the American Red Cross.
- In addition, TDs are strongly urged to use the events as fundraisers for Katrina relief; that a portion of the entry fees be donated to a related charity of their choice.
- 2005 Tour Standards will be in effect
