The PDGA Global Tournament August 20-21 is going to be big!

Check out the new web pages for information on the Global Events. Hopefully, there's one near you. If not, there's still time to host one in your area. Bob Gentil will be hosting an event in New Zealand which will kick off the competition from just past the International Dateline. We haven't heard from Hawaii yet but we hope they will host an event as the last one to finish on the weekend. The British Open will anchor the middle of the globe and there's a hint an island nation who's never had a course before may join in the fun.

Our sponsors are working on ideas for a great player pack for the amateurs. One special item in the player pack will be a DVD from Clash with highlights and pro tips from top players that's being assembled by Billy Crump from the excellent footage they've gathered from all of their events. Up to 30 slots in the 2011 USDGC hosted by Innova will be up for grabs for those who play above their rating. The Global event will be just about the last chance to qualify.

Discgolfplanet.tv will be providing live updates all weekend long just like CNN newscasts. Check in every two hours after you're done playing to see what's happening from around the World. We'll have scores, standings and updates from the TDs in the field along with video tours of the best holes on the courses being played.
