The first step in becoming an official is to be (or become) a current PDGA member. Then you must pay the examination fee, which is $10. You can pay online by credit card at PDGAStore.com, or you can mail a $10 check with your request to the PDGA office.
Once we receive your $10 we will mail or email you (your choice) the exam. You then mail or email your answers to the test marker, who will in turn notify you and the PDGA office if you pass the test. Once you have passed the test, you can serve as an Official and as a PDGA Tour TD, and the PDGA office will produce and mail out your Official's card.
If you ever let your PDGA membership lapse, then you would no longer be an official and you'd have to start the whole process again.
