It’s not how you start; it’s how you finish.

UNC Charlotte — the No. 1 seed coming into the 2024 College Disc Golf National Championship — stumbled out of the gate on Championship Saturday but rallied and — after an incredibly clutch putt — left Rock Hill, South Carolina on top of the College Disc Golf World.

The top prize in College Disc Golf comes down to this: The top-seed leading the way with an in-state foe and the defending champion right behind them.

That sets up a Championship Saturday showdown at the 2024 College Disc Golf National Championship in Men’s Division I.

UNC Charlotte returns to Winthrop Lakefront with a four-stroke lead over NC State, the No. 4 seed, and Cincinnati, the defending champion.

In the Women’s Division I title race, it’s the No. 3 seed leading the top two seeds.

The journey to the College Disc Golf National Championship is underway and the 2024 edition has a new destination.

All roads lead to Rock Hill, South Carolina on April 3-6 and more than 800 players are expected to compete in Division I, II and III and Women's DI as the annual event shifts to the home of the United States Disc Golf Championship and the surrounding area.
