Our new course is all sponsored by community business and I am looking for idea's on how to attach a plate or tag, that will weather, to our baskets, which have yet to be purchased. Nothing fancy, just something that says the name and will last. Any Idea's? ( On a sponsored budget )

Have you decided against putting their name on the tee sign? That is usually the best and easiest way to advertise your sponsors.

Talk to a trophy shop. They're used to doing small engraved metal or plastic plates and attaching them to metal. We have Mach3s with circular engraved plastic sponsor plates glued on the back of the number plate that have lasted for over 10 years.

I have seen little metal pieces like you would see on a trophy that were Hung on the cage facing the fairway and engraved with names. I thought that was a really cool idea.

I like the idea of putting them on the baskets instead of the tee signs. Would it be possible to run something down the pole?

How about painting it on the yellow band of a Discatcher?

Received final approval from parks and rec today...whooo hoooo.
We wont have tee signs, and number plates, as far as I know, are only a standard on the most expensive targets on the market. We are on a very limited budget and I dont think the donor businesses would appreciate my black on yellow spray painting expertise. I thought of a trophy supply and it seems like the the best option but what to use that is easily engravable yet will weather the +/- 1000 years that these baskets will be here! Brass? Stainless? They will probobly be discatchers.
