I'm hoping to find inexpensive, but good quality tee and caution signs for a nine hole course. Who makes the best ones, who makes the worst so I can stay away from them?

I think we'd all like to know that answer. DGA makes good quality metal frame signs but I wouldn't call them inexpensive unless you buy a course full of baskets and get them free. IFO Graphics in Atlanta makes nice signs at a fair price and has several options. I don't think they have standard caution signs but I'm sure they could make them, too. www.ifoatlanta.com/index.html#ifosigns (http://www.ifoatlanta.com/index.html#ifosigns)

Depending on labor the average 4'>6' tapered 12ft long cement tee pad 4" deep runs about $150.

Actually, it's more dependent on the cost of concrete, which runs from $60 a yard in Idaho to $150 a yard in California. A 6' x 12' x 4" pad takes ~1 cubic yard.
