i just took my first pdga cash in a 6 person open field this past weekend. (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=7967&year=2008&incl udeRatings=1#Open) the event was a blast, but i really should and could have played better. it was my first time at this course and i shot rounds of 911 and 915, but it was good(?) enough to cash! those are preliminary ratings that might even go down.
what are the lowest combined average rounds that you recall cashing in open?

it's very atypical. that's why i was asking. anyone else shoot worse according to ratings and still cash in open?

Meanwhile, same weekend and not too far away in Timber Ridge you had to shoot 990 to cash. Definitely one of the higher cash lines, so I wouldn't recommend moving just yet :)
