That would be "Disc Golf in Kids Meals" as a topic right next to the "don't hassle me about smoking pot at the course because the majority of disc golfers smoke" thread.
What irony? It makes total sense, order a happy meal and get your disc golf beginners kit:
1 136g Aviar
1 sample pack of zig-zags
2 grams of low-grade (these are children) marijuana
1 book of McMatches
2 minis, one with Grimace and the other with the Hamburgler that fit inside each other for your first stash spot.
...and voila! In a few years junior is ready to go pro!! :D
please note I'm only kidding...

Is this irony:
At a recent A-tier the TD disqualified an amateur player for refusing to wear a collared shirt during the last full round. The player pack included a no-collar t-shirt.
-----------------
Play A-tiers for great competition, excellent courses and to sponsor the touring pros. Play the Illinois Open Series (http://home.comcast.net/~illinoisopen/) for great amateur payouts.

The no collared T shirt thing has happened other times as well.
I suppose it could be construed as ironic. However, I don't go to tournaments expecting for the players package to outfit me for the weekend. I bring my own discs, towels, minis, collared shirts, socks, shoes, and underwear.
If the players package didn't include a shirt at all would it still be ironic?
If the players package included sunscreen, and it rained all weekend, would it be ironic?
If the players package included Beef Jerky, and two of the players were vegetarians, would it be ironic?

No, but if the tournament supported animal rights and there was beef jerky in the players pack, that would be ironic.
wish i had a hamburgler mini....

That would be cool, Robble Robble

Was the "Collared shirts mandatory" rule announced prior to the tournament or during the players meeting? If memory serves, the dress code only mandatory at NTs and Majors; for SuperTours and lower tier events, it was recommended but not mandatory.

I believe it is the td's call, can some rules guru help us out

It is the TD's call; I would hope (expect, really), however, that a TD who did choose to enforce the dress code would announce that intention ahead of time as a matter of courtesy.
