Not everybody in the south flies or hangs a confederate flag, and to some people it has other meanings. I really dont know where all this is coming from but your generalization is very wrong and I dont believe its a good way to promote such a nice disc. The disc is very nice and I am glad you brought it to our attention but I think you should have done it differently without offending half of the beautiful, free country we live in.

My take on the disc; It doesn't matter if you are from the North or the South if you play disc golf. Both uniforms, (hats, i think) are laid down, and the two are out enjoying a round of disc golf. Relax, enjoy life.

Having also grown up in "the North" (PA) and having done both undergraduate and post-graduate work in "the North" (OH, NY, MA) and being a member of a visible minority, I must say that I encountered more racism, bigotry, and intolerance�both systemic and individual�in "the North" than I have since moving to NC.

The message I got out of that disc is "get over it" and I think it says it in a cool way.

But, if what you mean to say was ��any SUV that cost more than 40K that you can�t hunt out of��, I would argue that the M- class fits that case to a tee. Now my Land Rover Disco II, on the other hand, is truly designed for off-road challenges. In fact, it�s one of the most popular safari and hunting vehicles in the world. It�s closer to being a 4x4 truck, while your hypothetical M-class is closer to a station wagon.

I am drifting, but this thread lame anyhow(not the disc). I just noticed that there are only 2 sanctioned tournies in Texas in August and they are the same date. I always hear about a FULL schedule, so whats up with August( I know it's hot). Just wondering, someone please enlighten me.

I have 5 on my calendar, but both July and August are light to leave room for Worlds (and because it is so hot).

Guess the Houston boys haven't gotten their stuff into the PDGA, or haven't told me that the events aren't sanctioned.
