Farina Headrick, "Steady" Ed Headrick's widow is auctioning discs and other items from "Steady" Ed's personal collection. This auction is happening so that the community at large can get a chance to own a part of history and a part of the "inventor of the modern day Frisbee" and the "Father of Disc Golf's", personal, rare and unique collection of Frisbee and Disc Golf memorabilia.

"Steady" Ed was and avid inventor and collector. The majority of Ed's collection will be kept for historical purposes and for permanent display at the "Steady" Ed Memorial Disc Golf Museum. The items up for bid are primarily items that Ed had planned to sell prior to his passing or are duplicates of items that will be on permanent museum display. All items are from "Steady" Ed's personal collection and some items are very rare and valuable

If you are a serious collector or if you want to have a piece of history, this will be one of your best chances to have a bit of Ed's personal collection.

"Steady" Ed's collection dates from when he passed away to before the inception of "Disc Golf", from his early days at Wham-O and the Pluto plater in the 1950's.

Ed's memorabilia includes items from the World Frisbee Championships at the Rose Bowl in 1974 to his one of a kind prototype discs he worked on for the fledgling sport of Disc Golf.

Items are currently on auction and new items will be added throughout October and November 2004.

Letter of authenticity will be included with each item.
