I left a phone message a few days ago asking about where my new PDGA membership materials were, but I've so far received no response.

Anyone know how long it usually takes for the mini-disc, etc., to arrive after the charge has been posted on your credit card?

Took *seemingly forever* to get mine, but in all reality, about 4 weeks. Estimated shipping time, per the PDGA, is 3 to 5 weeks.

My only question, which I already emailed in response, is in regard to the membership card. It says 2004 Membership, when I applied after 9/1 for a membership that should extend through 2005. Will I also get another membership card for next year? Other people getting their new memberships after 9/1 may have the same question, so I'm repeating it here.

Whever it was that I first joined ('98 maybe?), I did it after 9/1 and received a card for the short year and then a card for the following year later.

It sounds like you are on the same schedule I was on, so don't worry for now. :)

So, the word is: I can re-up for 2005 NOW, even though it doesn't state such? :confused:

Some quick notes on New or Renewal memberships:

The PDGA membership and Tour year runs January-December. <font color="red">New (first time) members and renewing members who have not been current for at least 5 years (last current in 1999 or earlier) who pay their dues on or after September 1 are extended to the end of the following year.</font>

Those who have been current within the last 5 years who renew on or after September 1 and before the last SuperTour (A Tier event) of the year (November 20, 2004) expire on December 31, 2004 and will be asked to renew again for the following year. The plus side here is members are sent all issues of Disc Golf World News for 2004 and are credited with points earned in PDGA sanctioned events played since Jan 1, 2004.

EVERYONE joining or renewing after NOV 20, 2004, will be current through DEC 31, 2005. <font color="red">Please note that 2005 Membership cards will begin mailing early JAN 2005.</font>

2005 Renewal Forms and Election Ballots will be mailed to current members in late NOV 2004.
