I just got my new membership package, and I was wondering what people are doing with their PDGA-stamped discs. Mine is a black Discraft Elite-X Storm (170-172g).
Are you throwing them or putting them on a shelf somewhere or hanging them from a nail on the wall?
I'm very tempted to go out and throw the disc, because I've never thrown a Discraft Storm before. Feels silly to go out and buy one when I have one already that I can try out, but the disc seems like a collectible.
Whatch'all think?
Throw it in an open field a couple times and see if you like it. It won't scratch at all and the disc will still pass for new.
That or you could just go out and buy a Storm for $8, ya tightwad!
(p.s. I didn't think the PDGA discs were anything special...are they?)

You make good points. Although I bet even in the middle of an open field, after the elaborate wind-up and throw, somehow my disc will bounce off a tree. I'm just saying.
i gave mine away after the first week i had mine, its only plastic
I threw my gold-bottom-stamped Midnight Z-Crush AM Worlds fundraiser disc. Love black discs, gotta throw them. I personally don't hang/save/resell discs. Heck, I threw my '04 Japan Open fundraiser clear 150g Banshee w/the Sundown Ninja Inncolor process. 1 of 50. I'm sure somebody would've bought it for more than I paid. It was just too badass for me not to personally huck it. Discs are for flying. To each his own....

Okay, so my first throw with the disc bounced off a tree, just as I predicted. Actually, I'm finding that it doesn't travel as far and hyzers sharply to the left compared to my other discs, such as the JLS. I guess I'll have to adjust the way I throw the Storm and see if I can get more distance and accuracy in the future.

I threw mine a few times and it is a pretty sweet disc. However it just looked too cool so it is hanging on my office wall below my JK signed Southern National Doubles INNCOLOR disc and KC signed KC Pro Roc.
