i'm looking at getting a seat, probably a folding tripod style, for when i'm waiting between shots/players/etc. i have some circulation issues with my legs and a lot of idle standing does them in, plus who can't use a little rest? i'm just wondering what everybody uses and what you would recommend. also, i'm a big guy, 6'3", 245lbs, so it needs to be sturdy. thanks! keep on huckin'!

I got one at REI, $15 weighs about 3 lbs and it reasonably tall (which I like b/c I'm 6'3") they make a smaller version as well that is a little lighter. Works and I don't mind carrying it b/c it's so light.

That is a great one, but get it from MaceMan or some other disc golf supporter!!!! :)
Can't believe I ever played without one!

I just purchased a 4 legged stool with a folding seatback from MaceMan. It has the larger/wider legs than the bargain types, is lightweight, and it easily folds up...very comfortable, too. The reinforced seat-corners look beefy compared to others.
Give MaceMan a call, as the 4 leggers need to be special ordered...and are worth

I bought my first one from MaceMan and let JJ borrow it at Worlds and never got it back. I also bought the same chair from Huk Lab but they have a black seat on theirs and a huk lab sticker wrapped around each leg. Get on from someone who sells disc golf stuff for sure. You can BEAT these things up and all you will ever have to replace is maybe the plastic caps on the bottom :D
I found a really great chair, with a built in foot rest for $7 at Target. They're not that light (maybe up to10 lbs?), but the footrest might be worth the extra weight if you have circulation issues, you know, get those feet elevated! :)
