I'm pretty comfortable with all the aspects of my game except for one; putting. I'm currently using a 167 Champion Aviar and can't seem to get any consistency with it. So my question is, what are some putters that you recommend? I want a disc that has a consistent flight. I'm looking for either Discraft or Innova, since those are the only disc brands I can find where I live.

Boom! There's you're problem!
But seriously, here we go...
Innova = DX Aviar 175
Discraft = D Challenger 175
Gateway = S Wizard 175
ALWAYS go with a standard plastic for your putter and always use max weight. Simple. Then you need to work on your form.
Out of all those, I would recommend the Wizard first, the Challenger second, and the Aviar third.

All those disc are BASICALLY the same mold but in each companies respective plastics. So get the one that goes with the company you like or buy all three and see which one you like best.
I agree though you should never put with anything less then MAX weight. That way you dont have to switch putters when it gets windy or anything like that. I putt with 174 Cam Todd challengers and 174 Black Pro D challengers. I have found that the more worn in a putter gets the better it is. Not so much that you are used to it by the time it wears in but they just seem to fly so much straighter and truer once they are a little worn in. Which makes it easier to can those 40-50 footers because you dont get the fade at the end :D
Even if you can't find Gateway where you are at, it is worth it to go online and buy a Wizard. It was the first Gateway disc I ever through and now I have 4 in my bag. The disc will fly predictably no matter how beaten up it gets.
I think I'll go with the DX Aviar. I've used one before, but it's so beat up that it's hardly worth throwing, which is why I went to the Champion mold. Thanks for the replies.
The Wizard made me a Gateway convert. I recently played a round with only Wizards and shot one of my best scores ever. Great disc.

If you like a harder plastic to putt with,try a KC Pro Aviar.
I ended up getting a 174 glow aviar. Unfortunately that was the heaviest disc they had, and they didn't have any KC. I love my glow Teebird so hopefully this disc I'll like just as much.

Don't listen to the hype about max weight putters, you do not need max weight. In fact I get a lot more spring on a putter that's a little less than max weight and this makes a real difference when it comes to longer straddles or putting out of tight places because the smallest movement possible equals the greatest consistency when it comes to putting. Also weight doesn't make that much difference in the wind if you have a clean release and understand how the wind affects the flight of your particular putter.

Discspeed is right,I used to think I had to throw max weight Putters and then I got a 9x Aviar back that I hated before and basically gave away.It weighed 172g and I use that for my appraoch,and on uphill straddles.The lighter weights I feel will hold a little longer glide.I really felt silly seeing how I have been all over the basket since I got it back.I originally dumped it because I thought it was too light and air bounced to much.Graham changes his bag and "new favorite "disc daily so dont let his Aviar third choice fool you.If you like stiffer putters the glow is a great choice.If it feels like your turning it over easy and still want a stiffer putter,then find the KC.

...arent all putters predictable as they age? Im yet to find one that is the same forever.For some reason mine become predictable as they get older.I know they will fade to the right.Am I the only one that this happens too?
I have an old Rattler that has been beat to hell and back, and I am just now using it as my main putter. For me, it's the lack of fade that is dependable.
I just found a wham-o putter from 1984. It is real light. I found it in my girlfriends garage. It has helped out a lot. It is more predictable
