Hey I am a young player so i still have christmas. My parents wanted ot knwo what Disc Golf Video I wanted, and I was thinking about maybe the 2004 USDGC.
My question is does anyone know when it will be released? Maybe based on when the '03 was released after the tourney?

If you're lucky, you'll see it in 6 to 8 months. That's my guess. Basically, I wouldn't hold your breathe on it.

Since film students are doing the video this year, I suspect they have to get it done to be graded before Xmas. So, it just might make it this year in time for the holidays.

With over 50 hours of video to sift through, compile, edit, and add music and sound to, DVD menus, and all the little things that go along with finishing the project, I am hoping we can get it done by January or February. My crew kicked butt, and we are already trying to focus on the first segment of the video now.

Hey, Matt.
Great job by the tourney team getting this year's USDGC shoot organized. It sounds like one of the most extensive DG shoots to date, and I look forward to seeing the final product. I was talking with Mr. Duvall yesterday, and he was very complimentary towards the whole video crew (and the rest of the tourney team, of course). Its great knowing that this large group of video students will be heading out into the real world with knowledge and experience shooting disc golf. Maybe one of them will eventually help bring DG to the mainstream.

But there are the online video clips (http://www.usdgc.com/media/video/index.html) to tide you over until the real thing is released. Highlights of the lead card on Sunday have just been added to the USDGC site.

I was lucky enough to be one of the commentators for USDGC. As a broadcasting student, this was great experience for me. I hope one day to combine my loves of journalism and disc golf
