Here recently people have been listing good trades they have made with people on the Traders Row thread. This is good because it helps out all of us who trade on here by letting us know who is trustworthy and lists accurately. The only problem is with the constant activity on that thread all these good trades are going to get buried in new listings. Thats why I'm starting this thread so maybe we can keep up with it and have easier access if we need it.

If someone's done you right on a trade, list them here by name so everyone will know these guys are honest and not here to try to take advantage of people.

I'll start it off. I've traded with a few guys on here and only gotten burned once. I won't list him but will list the guys that have been a pleasure to trade with.

dm_4 - trade went thru without a hitch, the straps I got from him were as promised and came quickly, would be happy to trade with him in the future

esalazar - I sent him a valk, and got a firebird back quickly that was in even better shape than I expected, pleasure to trade with, If we work a deal again, I'd happily send some more plastic to Texas.

Black_death - Canadian guy here, my first experience with a customs form, sent him some Gateway plastic and got a beautiful Starfire and a barely (if ever) thrown used Orc, no problems, his package got here even faster than we expected, would definitely trade with him again

DiscinDeadhead - he needed a new Demon and I wanted to try an Element, I was kinda slack about getting his disc out when I said I would (not something I make a habit of, work got in the way), I threw an extra disc in his package to make up for it so both of us came out happy, I'll trade with him again if it suits us both.
By the way Chris, I got an ace with that Element today, 300 ft annie on hole 17 at my home course. I'm lovin that disc. You're sponsored by them, see if you can wrangle me up a 180(+) E plastic. I can probably find you another Demon.

I think I got everyone. If I didn't then it's not that I was disappointed (except for that guy I sent the Comet to, but you know who you are), just forgetful.

There's a lot of trust involved in sending plastic halfway across the country to someone you have never met and may never meet. If you have a good trade list it here and let everyone know. It can't do anything but help us all out in the long run.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a couple CFR TLs (Lance Armstrong 24 hour cancer marathon) from Chris Himing through www.discgolftourist.com. (http://www.discgolftourist.com.) About the same time, I also won a couple discs from Chris on eBay. The eBay discs arrived, but the TLs never did. When I sent an email to Chris asking about the TLs, and he responded by telling me that he would send replacements. Well, he went above and beyond just sending replacements in that he sent me 3 TLs to replace the 2 that I ordered, plus a pretty cool bottle holder. I guess that Chris epitomizes why I'm really enjoying this new found hobby (addiction??). It's not just the sport, but it's the good people you encounter in doing it!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just finished a deal with Blake T and he was a very good trader. He informed me when my letter got to him and when he sent out the discs and sent them priority mail. Plus the one used disc I got from him was in a much better quality than he made it out to be so he by no means is trying to pass off used plastic as new. If he says the disc has been used but is in good or even great condition, you can believe it. IMHO

I was beyond even his help yesterday. Even in the wind Dave hit five putts in the 40-45 foot range. On the offending #5 we both actually had our drive discs touching each other, but with a smallish tree between us and the basket 16 feet away. Simple straddle putt. He doinked. I whiffed. Ah well at least I continue to contribute to the $563 ace pool. :o

Greatzky is a superb trader. He sent multiple pictures of the X-out Champ Roc and told me up front about the tiny scratches, and on top of that, had the disc to me in 2 days. I wish I had been as efficient in return. Sorry it took me an extra 2 days, Greatzky. Hope the Black StarWinder helps smooth things over.
