Just wondering if anyone changes out thier bag when the leaves get heavy on the ground. I know I do because I'd HATE to lose something irreplaceable (sp) in the leaves.

I almost lost a disc today (twice) and I saw EXACTLY where it landed but since it was under the leaves I almost didnt see it.

my favorite driver (10x kc pro teebird) is "leaf colored" (dull orange, green, & red dyed) so it came out of the bag until the spring. :)

luckily it has a bright orange 10x brother that is bravely taking its place until the leaves are gone.

i think i'll take out my favorite buzzes for a while too...lake lewisville here in dallas is bad with the leaves right now.

i definitely have a few "can not lose under any circumstance" discs (the 10x teebird, my main 2 buzzzes, my favorite orc & beast, etc), that i dont throw anywhere near water or thick brush. i usually carry expendable versions of all my favorites just for those occasions, that's why i usually carry 17 or so discs, even though i only have 4-5 different "molds" in the bag.

if i left all the "must not lose" discs at home, i could play most rounds with 7-9 discs, but there is some comfort in having those old favorites along for the ride, even if they get left in the bag alot while their stand-in's take the big risks.

I dont change a thing. I guess being in IN you learn to watch where they go and develop an eye for finding them in the leaves and snow. ;)

One thing that I have noticed is that blue discs, which usually in the summer do not stand out very well, are the easiest to find in the leaves, as the blue contrasts vividly with the tan and orange.

Blue is great for me year round. also BRRIGHT orange still gets found in the leaves ok. One thing i do is jump up just as i see the disk hitting the ground. this gives a better view (bit of altitude and more importantly, improves your depth perception.

I have lost 4 midrange discs in the leaves in the past four years! No matter what the color-blue,red,yellow and white. They just seem to disappear. I had 6 people look for one of my discs once and no one could find it! Weird!
