I'm sure there's a link here somewhere. I'm moving to a part of Florida where there are no courses. I've been meaning to talk to Ken Climo, as he plays the same courses I do, but he's elusive. Are there any online resources to guide me in dealing with the local beauracracy?
Wow. I just did a little digging around and found tons of good info. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
I should say, my wife is an attorney for the Southwest Florida Water Management District whom own many parks in our area. So I have her on my side and I also have a friend who works for the City, perhaps he can help. If these people can help, please tell me how. Thanks.

Innova has a nice brochure that will help you gather the information you'll need to present when you get to the proposal stage. It has info on the different types of teepads, signs, and estimates on expenditures you can adjust to fit your budget.

You can also request a brochure by calling the East or West coast office. It has a lot of good info about course design and planning.
There's always the OG's

Yep, I've found DGA info very helpful!
I've written a few different versions of course proposals. Specifically tailored for park districts' requirements and expectations. PM me and I can email them to anyone who might be able to use them.
