Work is going to take me to PR for awhile and I was wondering if anyone knows if they have a course?

I thought Anne's wiseacre remark would be about the placement of a question about disc golf in Puerto Rico in the International section. I was ready to retort, "Well, there isn't a section for "Disc Golf in the Colonies, Protectorates and Outer Regions of the Empire USA."

Careful, Bruce! You don't want to get him started on the "Is England a Country?" debate. He'll argue that one with you until you're blue in the face.

Puerto Rico is in England? Did we lose a war while I was on vacation?

I don't think it's England, as you don't need a passport to go there...I like going to a different country without leaving the US. They use US Currency...but then most of them pretend they can't speak english. It's pretty cheap to go there.

there was/and may still be a course called the bad banana ranch disc golf course on a banana plantation ...it was put in around 2000 and was still there in 2002...a story was written about it with pictures and should be able to be found somewhere....
hope this helps and hope you find it and have a good time

worst case..take a couple of discs you don't care about losing and throw 1 from the wall at el morro fort and another from the top of el yanque mountaintop!!

:D

Thanks keith that was what I was looking for. I had heard there was one put in but could not really find anything on the web about it still, mostly older articles about the time they put it up.

Wooky, if all else fails do as we do when we take our yearly trip to Grand Bahama.....create your own object course. It is not only fun but in the 5 years we have done it, we have introduced the sport to a lot of native islanders. We always leave the discs we bring with local kids. Have actually had a few join us when we return...all of them improved from the year before
