Who comprises each committee?

Contact the PDGA office for that info. Since the Committee head contacts are available off this site if members have an issue or question, I'm not sure there's much value in having all of the committee member names posted, but they're certainly not secret.

I think there is value in this. You never know when you might run into a committee member in person, or talk to someone that knows them. A five minute discussion in person is probably worth hours of e-mails.

Just a suggestion. No malice intended. ;)

I see no harm in posting them and some benefit so members know where they might want to volunteer sometime. Suggest it to PDGA HQ to find a spot on the website.

PDGA Constitution (http://www.pdga.com/documents/PDGA_constitution.pdf)

Article 7 seems to talk about being elected, but I am stupid. Someone correct me if this is wrong....in order to get on the ballot, you have to have 20 signatures from Active members? And you have to be nominated by someone else? Someone on the Board of Directors or an appointed committee?

(Upon further research.....)
But this thread (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=379909&page=3&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1) makes no mention of required signatures or needing to be nominated. It seems contrary to the constitution.

Should I start a new thread to get clarification?

Article 7
Section 2 (A) states that "The Board of Directors or an appointed committee shall be responsible for: selection of one or more nominees for each elected position;"

Under that provision, all one needs to do to get nominated it bring their desire to run to the attention of the appropriate person(s).

Section 3 seems to setup a separate method if the first fails.
