I want to start playing bigger tournaments but need to know how and where to start. Ive played some weekly tournaments in my area and dont well (won more than I've lost) and want to expand a bit. My question is can I play in say B or C tier tournaments? I'm not sure what the standards are. Maybe these are way off and I should go another route. I love the competition of disc golf-- thats the thing that drives me the most. How do I keep going? Help would be apreciated
The best way to find out is to pony up the entry fee and play

Anyone can play B and C tier tournaments. It costs $5 more if you are not a PDGA member. Always check the website for tournament details or call the TD if there is no website.

However, I would advise joining the PDGA! The entertainment value that one can get here alone is worth the fee. Even more so, the ratings and other items that come with membership!

If you've been playing the weeklies at Sinsheimer but haven't played the monthlies at Waller in Santa Maria, you should do that. Last I checked they were the first Sunday of the month, at like 9:30am or so. You'll definitely see some stiffer competition at Waller, and you can get a good idea of what division to play in sanctioned tournaments.
