The Augusta Disc Golf Association is very proud to announce that we have pledged to raise $5000 to become a Gold sponsor in the National Disc Golf Center endowment fund program. Furthermore, we challenge all disc golf clubs to sponsor this very worthwhile program at any level to help fund this landmark project.

NDGC Endowment Fund - Sponsorship Levels (http://www.pdga.com/documents/NDGCendowment.pdf)

$5000 is a tremendous amount of money to raise for a small club such as the ADGA. Our plan is to raise $2500 through individual $100 member contributions and an additional $2500 by hosting a charity event in the near future at the new Hippodrome course that will be used in next year's world championships.

We encourage all clubs and individuals to participate in this program. As a PDGA affiliate club and host club of the NDGC, we want to set an example and also let everyone know that our community is very committed to the success of the National Disc Golf Center, which will open in 2006.

Who is up for this challenge?

Regards,
Brian Graham

Brian,
Would it be posibble for us to have our ne wtaitan basket sent to the NDGC for approval and then cset in the ground for all to use who come to the center.
Could you make that happen?

David,

I do not know what the proper protocol is for having a target approved by the PDGA technical specifications committee but we would gladly display one of your Titan baskets at the National Disc Golf Center. One of the many functions of the NDGC is to be a showcase for new disc golf products and innovations. We invite all manufacturers and inventors to contact us if they have a piece of equipment that they would like to introduce to the sport. We are tentatively planning for a future putting park, where visitors can see and try one of every brand or style of target ever made. I can be contacted via e-mail at [email protected]

Regards,
Brian Graham
