I renewed my membership on 1/02/06, yet it says my membership is not current online. When will I be listed as current again? Anyone else encountered this?

Eddie,
You should probably get an email from Laurie Gibson saying your membership has been renewed.
It took mine about 7-10 days after I mailed it, and I live about as far from HQ as you.
The same thing happend to me last year. I sent my check December 31st, and it took until the middle of January for the website to say it was current.
You can always email the PDGA Office and get them to confirm your membership if you need it to play in a tournament soon.

Same. I renewed online several days ago, but my membership says "not current".
I'm playing in an event on the 14th, I assume they'll be processed by then...

I have always found that if you tell the TD that you are current , that is good!! Especially if you know the TD!! I believe the td's have access to the current players list far sooner than you get your package in the mail!! Is this correct Gary???

I renewed right around Thanksgiving. It took about 2 weeks before my number was active here on the web. I still have not received my card. It should be here before the Gentlemans tournament in February.

i renewed during the last week of December, and i have copied below some of the info i received yesterday in an email from the PDGA:
<font color="blue"> Thank you for your membership with the PDGA! To view your membership details please go to www.pdga.com (http://www.pdga.com) click on Membership and insert your PDGA number or your last name. Renewing members can look forward to receiving their 2006 cards, a copy of the updated and revised rulebook along with assorted information bringing them up to date on changes and innovations being implemented in the year ahead. For new members (welcome!) your new player package containing a magazine, a PDGA logo disc, personalized mini, rulebook, 06 membership card and sticker will arrive in 5 weeks or so. Your patience is appreciated.
In the meantime, all current members names are included in a list emailed every Thursday to Tournament Directors in your area enabling you to play in PDGA sanctioned events without penalty, earning you points, generating a rating.
