Wow that made it out...how long till edit :o

There is a feature on this baord whereby you have a certain amount of time to edit your posts. MitchJustice noted how he had sworn on the board and commented about how he would wait for someone else ot come along and clean up after him. He could have easily hit that "Edit" line and taken out the offensive material.

Hey everyone,

This weekend out at Circle R Disc Golf Ranch is the last of the Winter Ranch Minis hosted by WDGC!

It will be a two-round, one-day singles event.
Lunch will be available @ $5/person
Entry: $25 Pro
$20 Am
Sign up by 9:30am. We'll tee off at 10am, break for lunch, then start the 2nd round.
There is NO camping at Circle R right now, due to the burn ban. Normally, camping would be 'included' in your entry, but since there's no camping, we'll have a surprise, thanks to the Circle R staff, for all players who come out.

Sorry I missed this one. Can anyone post what they think about these courses, or scores even?
I played there on Saturday and the wind was the worst I have ever played in, especially on "Circ Hill"!
But, still the best courses I have ever played. Thanks to John Houck !!!

you can't ask for a more challenging fair beautiful course course then the two at circle r ranch in wimberly

one day i'll learn to putt in the wind hopefully by friday and on through sunday that way i'll actually be able to compete in victoria.

Fun day at the Ranch...43 players in all...Downs,Olse,and James"the Legend" tied for first(Alex shot a 55 on the Hill,and James carded a 53 on the Meadow,very good rounds in that wind) They split the cash for $50 each...The World champ won Open Women with KT taking second...Randy(6 stroke win)Moreno won Adv men, with Matt bond in second...Gordo and Jeff Pitt tied for the win in old man division...Porter Yax won MA2...Shannon Bowles won adv women...and I will have to look up the MA3 winner...thanks to all who braved the wind

Hello Golfers,

The Waterloo Club is seeking donations of used (or heck, even new) discs for several worthy causes. Mike Olse is running a summer disc golf camp for kids. Scott Allen at the South Austin Rec Center needs some for the kids to use, they have had a disc golf program for quite a while and it does really well. Dale Hemmeline has gotten a big group of newbies from his work playing weekly, even in this heat.

They all could really use some more discs, and we are going to collect and distribute what comes in.

light-weight discs are great, but really any discs will do (new, gently used, roughly used)

* You can drop them off with Damon & Stacey Neth at the DiscNation store, 1218 Slaughter Lane, (near Searight Park)
* You can drop them with Dave Moody or Mike Suida at Moody�s Pro Shop at Pease Park or Moody�s Disc Golf Country Club in Red Rock, TX
* You can drop them off with any of the Circle R crew at Circle R Ranch in Wimberley
* You can drop them off with Corey Matthews at Twin Parks Country Club in Dripping Springs
* You can drop them off with any of the South Austin Disc Assoc. guys (usually found at Searight)
* You can bring them to any of the club�s Thursday night Leagues / Minis at Zilker Park
* You can mail them to WDGC, PO Box 33531, Austin, TX, 78764

Because these places also act as collection points for lost discs (and they are really great about making efforts to get those discs back to their owners), please be specific when dropping off discs that they are for donation.

Oh� and if you happen to have a basket you�d like to donate to the South Austin Rec Center, they�d love to have another one (I�m sure any kind would be fine with them).
