I hit my 13th Ace yesterday on Easter at Klein Park in Beaumont, TX on one of our "temporary" holes. I was pretty stoked, it being Easter and all and was wondering about others who have hit Aces on "major" (or any other) holidays; I suppose an Ace on groundhog day would be cool. :D

Me and two of my friends decided to play a few extra "woods" holes after our round yesterday. My buddies almost didn't even play this particular hole (C-hole) but having aced it recently I wanted to play it. The hole is not particularly long (maybe 175ft) or shorter. I was first to throw and threw a CE Leopard high, turnover shot through the gap of trees. When the disc neared the basket it began cutting back left and then it happened...the disc hits a small tree just in back of the basket and flops down into the basket--No Chains! Talk about Lucky 13! This was my 7th Ace with a Leopard.

The recuring theme around here is to get an ace on you birthday. I have gotten aces on my 24th, and 25th birthday. I didn't get one last year b/c I was stinking drunk by the time we were gonna go play. There are three other guys that I play with that got aces on their birthdays. I have also aced on my sisters b day and my ex girlfrieds b day.

The only "holiday ace" I can think of was on MLK day this year... but I don't have a very good memory.

Not an ace, but a 200ish foot side-wedger deuce on #2 long at Loriella Park on Sat. Nearly silent collision of metal & plastic (rubber) with a 150g 4x hypersoft JK Aviar.

A kid hit a ROLLER ace on back course #13 in Columbia over Thanksgiving weekend....310'...guess it hit a bump and bounced in the basket.

Watched George Smith almost duplicate the feat on front course #7 2 hours later...disc bounced in the air and went straight through the chains and kept rolling. Both were in the Annual Roller Doubles tourney in Columbia.
