I joined for the first time last year, and have some how lost my pdga mini since then. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's any way to get another one.

Mines all scuffed and dirty. I'd pay $5 for one more of those. Probably $8 if it was on a mini-star.

I've got one that is orange with numbers stuck on. While it was crafted by hand, I have never used it because I didn't want to lose the stuck on numbers.

Can I get a spiffy printed one, too? I'd pay!

If you lose your original mini I think your out of luck. I read that the PDGA has a contract with the company that makes or stamps them and they're done in large batches with the promise of no re-prints ever. I guess it would disrupt their production line to make re-prints. Tough luck.

That's the thing, you can't just buy them. Unless you know somebody.

I also read about the printer doing them in large batches, but I think they should let us order another one and just put that one in along with the big batch of new members.

what you are forgetting is sequencing....
1,2,3,4,5,6,7(wait lets throw 299 in now) then 8 then 34,etc...

it's the same for pdga #'s...
you can get any # within 10,000 of the current #....
IF(BIG IF) you are willing to pay 250 bucks for it...because of all the extra work involved in being out of sequence, from membership # to mini, and other things involved

that's why you can't get a mini once you had one

hell i've been asking since 1997 and others i'm sure long before that.....

The West Virginia Open used to offer wooden minis that were personalized with your PDGA number. Check them out.

The mini I got was a standard mini with the PDGA stamp and press on numbers with a clear coat sprayed on it. If I could get some blank, dyeable minis, I could dye member's numbers on them no problem.

One thing I did was scan the circular PDGA logo on the cpu then added my number underneath it. Then I prnted some out on label paper and stuck them to a mini. You need to use a flat top mini like a photon glo or it will wrinkle and don't use it in the rain.

If you use certain models of Epson printers, their Durabrite ink is pigment based and won't smear if it gets wet and holds up to UV abuse better than regular inkjet dye inks.
