The September edition of Disc Golf Monthly is already available via Comcast Cable's OnDemand service in the Mid Atlantic region.
This show features coverage of the the 1st annual Throw to Know tournament at Anson B. Nixon park in Kennett Square, Chester County, PA.
The throw to know tournament was a charity tournament hosted by the Square Friends of Kennet in which proceeds of the event went to the Philadelphia local chapter of the Autism Society of America.
Featured in the program is an interview with Local ASA Treasurer Patrick Lyons, who speaks about how thankful their organization is for the Square Friends hosting the event.
The second round of the competition features coverage of the Mens Open Masters Division Lead Group. Competing in this group is Steve Winchester, Nick Kight, Bryan McAlees, Ray Rogers, and Don Price. Nick held the lead through out the competition but Bryan McAlees came close to taking the lead with 3 holes remaining.
What's exciting in this show is the guest hosts for the Inside the Round segment.
Barry Shultz hosts and demonstrates the importance of marking your lie after Nick Kight carefully marks his lie on hole 18.
David Feldberg hosts the second Inside the Round by demonstrating the use and technique of making an anheizer shot after Bryan McAlees uses the throw to layup on hole one.
I'd like to thank Barry and David for taking the time to share some understanding about disc golf rules and strategy for Disc Golf Monthly.
This episode features some bonus coverage of a one hole playoff round for the mens Open Division, in which Tim Kady, Linc Morgan, and Shawn Breske battle it out for the top spot in the mens open division.
