So, I hear while I was gone, the drones voted to change the PDGA Constitution, but I can't seem to locate the new one.

Can anyone provide me with a copy of this new and likely distasteful document?

Those look like "by-laws" to me. Is that the same as a constitution? I ask becuase the non-profit I'm heading has both by-laws and articles of incorporation.

I don't see anything sinister in the by-laws.

Under Colorado law we are supposed to have by laws and not a constitution. Our former Constitution was our by laws.

Nothing sinister in there. Nothing at all. Find me your right to vote in that document. Or how long directors are elected for. Or -- oh, never mind. I already lost this argument with 10,000 idiots.

The only argument you lost was that all of that needed to be spelled out before it could be adopted. The majority voted that the board could be trusted to fill in the blanks without destroying the organization.

well, maybe not the only argument, but that was the one I voted on.

i voted against the new ByLaws, but i am committed to following the ByLaws that were passed. i do like the fact that any BoD member can call a meeting of the BoD.

Now that you mention it, the membership does seem to have given up its right to review PDGA finances. So the old constitution is dead, and all we're left with is this vague By-law doo-doo? That's lovely. Can y'all tell me what the thread was where the drones accepted their nuts getting chopped off and they smiled as the blood ran down their feeble legs?

There is no reason the BoD can't vote to give the membership the right to know our association's financial data. i wonder which of our BoD members would oppose financial disclosure? Hopefully not a single one...

You still have the right to know the organizational financial data. That right is protected by Colorado law.

Mikey, here's the thread, but the horse is glue by now:
