I agree with most of your list, but Michael Jackson? Whatever he may or may not have done can't outweigh the FACT that Thriller kicks all kinds of #$*&$!.

Tom Petty is good too.

EDIT: can't say donkey...

Would like to add Supertramp to that list...NO band gets my finger to the tuner faster to change the station!*
REO Speedwagon was great until HiInfidelity...
Journey was great until around '81...

With exception of ONE and Master of Puppets, Metallica gets no play in my car. (sorry about that, South Texans)

Neither does:
Bon Jovi, post 1990
Tone Loc
Skid Row (sorry guys, no way)
The Cure, post 1990
Any Country post 1990
Blink 182
and finally...
NO, Fiona Apple. :D

The Cure POST 1990. Are you sure you read that right? Not the old, good stuff. The new stuff. The "comeback" stuff. The "I'm old but still want to tease my hair, wear the white makeup and lipstick" stuff. Josh, you can't listen to an awesome band like Spearhead then comeback and say you like The Cure. Those bands are counter-active. :D:D

p.s. Take you FireFOXFire discussion else where! /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
