I was curious why there is no apperent link between the PDGA website and the Discgolftv.com website?
Is this a poor desicion?

You could email the PDGA Office about this question, but I would expect the reason would be something along the lines of sponsorship fees (cash). In exchange for this cash, a sponsor is rewarded with links on the message board marquee (advertising).
The DGTV guys are as good as you'll find, and I'm not saying that to get DGTV famous because I already got 30+ seconds of DGTV fame, but they'll still probably have to cough up some sponsorship cash to get that link.

Board Minutes (http://www.pdga.com/documents/boardminutes/2007-02-07BODMeetingMinutesApproved.pdf)
Check out the third page in regards to the DiscGolfTV.com Proposal. From what was written, I would expect the PDGA to have a direct link to DGTV on their home page.

Why wouldn't the PDGA want to Promote Timmy and Alan and all the hard working guys and gals that bring you DGTV?
They are doing, visable, more for this sport than anyone else in the business...
Keep up the great work DGTV!!!!
We love you guys...

You're suggesting that because you pay $75 per year for a membership, that a paid employee from the PDGA Office should scan the DISCussion board day and night to look for these kinds of questions? How many and which of the weekly/frequent core staff tasks, or annual periodic tasks (such as posted here (http://www.pdga.com/org/documents/2006/06PDGAProcessScheduleFinal.pdf)) should they give up? When it would just take someone about 45 seconds to email the PDGA Office about this question?

Done. DGTV is not selling products or trying to make a profit from their site. They are simply trying to advance the sport by showing videos of the top tournaments throughout the year. Since the PDGA has the same goal of advancing the sport, it only seems reasonable that they would provide a link on their site. Maybe the board minutes I posted were just a PC way to say, "no" to DGTV.
