I heard through the grapevine that the Ark State Championship tournament will be held at Burns park!!! It has 36 holes of awesome golf, if you like BlackHawk you will love Burns. It's right off interstate 40 in Little Rock!!!

BURNS PARK is far from BLACKHAWK....I have played it a half dozen times and it's more of a pitch and putt course, but the two courses are enjoyable

I wasn't trying to compare the two. But if you like the tight shots at BH you will love the tight "shorty" shots at Burns.

They are fun courses, I would say they play like Mack Taylor with slight elevation....It would be worth the trip if anyone wanted to go. Only 4 hours away on I-40....can't miss it, right off the exit

What's the dates MC?

m_conners
Apr 25 2007, 05:20 PM
Oops, the date might help

Ark States will be held May 19-20.

Apr 25 2007, 05:32 PM
That is also the date of the St Loius Open A Tier.

2 hour longer drive but should be a better tournamnet at better courses. ;)

I've played a couple of them and they are nice older established parks with large trees and elevation.
