Tired of the status quo and the good old boy network? Tired of a million divisions? Wonder why the BOD is happy withless than 5 PDGA members per installed course? Membership rates too high with little benefit?

Write in Hawk Corrick for BOD. I assure you he will at least stir the pot!

If you want to support the write-in campaign, just vote for hawk and not anyone else so as to maximize the vote rather than dilute it!

I expect sandalman, dodge and the others who got together to keep hawk in the pdga to weigh in shortly with their support.

If you have any questions for Hawk regarding his candidacy, feel free to ask them here and i will try to get him on to answer them...

hawk's an insightful guy with interesting ideas. i'd be interested in knowing what he thinks are its top two or three threats from outside the Association and the top two or three opportunities that the Association could exploit in the next 1-3 years.

are you sure he really wants to run? how come he didnt just send in his candidacy paperwork?

Let's hear from Hawk on why he wants to run and what he'll do for the PDGA..he should be able to post, as his 2007 membership is still current.

The following is a quote from Mikey Kernan:

"David Gentry is the PDGA Tour Manager. In 2006 the PDGA paid for him to fly all the way to Japan to learn first-hand about International PDGA competition. Yet recently he claimed in an e-mail to candidate Mike Kernan #14304 that he is "not up to the specifics on International events".

This was in response to a question Mike asked in regard to the PDGA charging different fees for events overseas versus events in the USA, such as $0 per player for non-members in Europe versus $5 per player for non-members in the USA. (I'm not sure if that is a fact, but could be true)

So, Board of Directors Candidate, do you feel that David Gentry is properly doing his job as PDGA Tour Manager? Don't you agree that the PDGA Tour Manager should know what the PDGA charges for overseas sanctioning? Finally, does this indicate that all the PDGA's finances are improperly centered in one person, the PDGA Executive Director?

Thank you for tackling this thorny issue."

PDGA tour manager, Dave Gentry followed proper office protocol in politely advising Mr. Kernan to contact the International Committee chairman, as that committee has been charged with the management of the International program. It should be noted that Mr. Kernan's reply to Dave contained profanity, false accusations, an insult and a threat. Dave used his better judgement and showed great restraint in not responding to this unwarranted attack and he has my full support in this regard.

Brian Graham

HYYPOOO-CRYITT....if he renews....not willing to stand by his own pile of %[email protected]# smelling ideals?

I thought this brilliant minded person was going to go and join another organization and complain about them?....I do not want all his talent wasted on an organization that he thinks is not worth anything + the PDGA is not worthy of his membership.

If elected..."big-bird-hawk" would be the guy in the corner complaining about everything, and doing nothing...oops....that is just like now...my bad!

I love to read posts about the PDGA, tournaments, clubs etc....even some constructive ideas on how to improve things in disc golf, BUT those who complain about something they JOINED, and can go away anytime...but CHOOSE to stay, and continue to %$^# and act like spoiled children SHOULD just go away.

1 pizza, 1 movie and your usual weekend (I have no date) porn rental will equal membership in the PDGA...so, please join something else, and let that organization enjoy your support.

Find another sport growing like no other in the world...with an organization willing to do ANYTHING to support its' growth, AND include ALL its' members....and JOIN, and complain to them....seems the PDGA has given a great basic primer for your future of speaking from the anal canal'.

I have to stop now....I fear the time of Hawks and Evils love affair will soon end, and this will be a sad day...Re-New his membership?.....and give up all his respect and ideals...no way!..our hero would never bow-down to the PDGA.
