Hello my freinds,

The new hole 10 is making some people whoop and others scream. We had to
change the hole because Mt High built a gigantic half pipe sledding mound.
It's flat and about 15 feet wide on top so that's where we put the basket.
Go to far and you're paying. lay up too short and you have a mean uphill
putt.

As of June 11th Hwy 138 will be closed just South Hwy 2 South. So anyone
coming here on the 15 will still need to exit at Hwy 138 West toward
Wrightwood, but after about a mile, just after going under a railroad
bridge turn left onto Lone Pine Canyon road. This road goes uphill several
miles and will take you through Wrightwood. Turn right on Sheepcreek to
get back to Hwy 2 where you turn left and go to Table Mt. Road right.

We didn't bother with our monthly (normally the first Sunday of the month)
in June because it conflicted with the Summertime Open. To make up for
that we are hosting a totalliy unsanctioned tournament on Saturday June
23rd. Two rounds of 18 on two different courses. Live band, BBQ, CTP lots
of fun.
The campground next door is open, the weeds are low it's really great up
here.
Come on up!

Will the entry form for the PDGA/SoCal tourney be available any time soon?

For the tournament on the 23rd, I have two questions. What is the start time, and what are the rates per division?

I went up there on Saturday to play the course. Talked to Ron about the tournament. It will be $20.00 for Ams and $25.00 for Pros. Sign-ups end at 10:00 am. Includes 2 rounds of 18; A CTP; Awards BBQ; + live band and keg of beer. Sounds like a good time. There is a camp ground right next to the course. Here are a couple of pics we took during our round yesterday.

Dude, those pictures are awesome. You totally need to send that second one to Disc Golf Magazine or Disc Golf World.

Thanks. We got a bunch more too. Photo credit goes to Bert Cotton. He's got the sweet camera/lens.

Hey, I was playing the course last Friday and Saturday! :)

Course is playing nice. I like the hole on top of the sledding hill stopper mound. Hole 10?

The hole 11 teepad needs to be moved back because there is a huge hand-breaking tree right at the front right corner. Pull the pad back 8 feet and there will be no way to break a hand and the small gap between the two trees will make your knees knock a little. :)

Weather was perfect and the campground was pretty much deserted. Just the way I like it for a little getaway.

The event is still on for tomorrow, June 23.

There will be two rounds of 18 holes. There will be an awards barbecue that will feature a live band: "Cuz What" and a keg of adult beverage. First round starts at 10:00AM.

Hwy 138 is closed at Hwy 2. So turn left off 138 onto Lone Pine Canyon Road and follow to Wrightwood.
