Looks like this city councilman is pushing for more funding next year when it comes to cutting the city grass.

I am starting to get the feeling that BlackHawk will not be cut by city mowers this season.

There is a city ordinance that says grass on city, residential or personal property is not to exceed 12 inches. If it does exceed 12 inches you are subject to a fine. So I guess the city is going to fine itself for letting the grass get too high, YEAH RIGHT.

I drove by Dovillio today.

It has not been mowed.

Is it playable, well that is a matter of opinion..

The road around redhawk was closed yesterday because it was under water. :o

My own yard is starting to look like a code violation and I pay some one to mow it. :mad:

Even if it stops raining the city will not mow BlackHawk. Zooc said that last year the city approved EXTRA funding in order for a crew of Mexicans to go back there and mow it. With the amount of people complaining about city grass I don't see BlackHawk getting mowed this year.

Once it dries up maybe we can schedule a work day out there and get the course back into shape before the fall season. BH definetly gets more play in the cooler months anyway.

I kind of miss all those BH ticks and mosquitoes :D

They make thousands of dollars on the weekends (when it's not raining) why would they not use some of the cash to mow the grass and ensure that they make more cash by having the disc golfers frequent the park. :mad:
