Before Yahoo started doing this Fantasy Golf deal; me, MC, Keith, Swaggies and a few others have had a pool for the major championships in the past.

Since the PGA Championship is being held here in Tulsa, my goal is to put together a big money pool for us to get a chance to make some serious $$$.

Basically we would hold a draft, where each person picked 3-5 players competing in the tournament and whoever picked the winner AND had the best team would win the money.

My goal is to get 20 guys (or gals) at $20 a head, so there would be about $400 in the pot. Whoever has the winner on their team would get half of the $$$ and whichever team had the lowest overall score would get the other half.

Let me know if you are interested, I am going to try to get MC to post something on the PDGA board (as I am not a current member) to get more folks involved.

I would like to do the draft by Tuesday August 7th. We will do a live draft, but you need not be present to participate.

This is not like Yahoo, once a guy is picked no one else can get him, so each person will have different guys on their team.

In order to make this run smoothly we would need to know up front who and how many people are playing. Invite your friends, we can have many more than 20 if we can get it. I can probably get 5-10 guys not in this league to enter, so hopefully we can get a lot of money in the pot.

good luck, he snubbed the adults but did sign some for kids. forest took a disc and would hold it out whenever the players walked by. if i remember correctly mark o'meara walked past then looked back and seen forest and came back and said "oh yeah the other golf" and signed the disc. then again if you got hit by one of his drives :Di think that would be worth an autograph

After the way my fantasy golf season has gone, I'm not sure about losing more money.

I changed my schedule. Now I'm working the practice round on Monday (i think i'm in one of the merchandise tents) and I'm working Friday afternoon selling pre-packaged ice cream on the course...looking forward to it BIG TIME!!!!!!

No phones, radios, mp3 players, coolers or cameras.

Your allowed to bring a backpack or small bag...I recommend bringing a stool/chair, binoculars, sunglasses, hat, comfortable walking shoes and your wallet.

12 oz. budweiser is $5 and a 12 oz amstel/heineken is $6.

Unless you can get tickets that include access to one of the pavillions.

American Express has an air conditioned tent for card holders, not sure what they have in there, I didn't have my wallet with me.

Yeah that's no joke, those corporate tents are the bomb. My station was right in front of the Maxwell Corporate village and people were walking out of there completly crap faced.

I only have grounds tickets for Wed but I have clubhouse tickets for Friday, should be a fun time.

During a press conference today Tiger said he was at fudruckers on Sunday night eating and he said nobody recongnized him, he said it happens all the time everywhere he goes.

Thought that was interesting.

I think it was the Monday night last week. He stayed at the rennsance and ate at Fud's. Said he turned his hat around and wore his shades, no one knew him.

It helped that he left his caddie and entourage behind.

My ticket gets me into the Wannamaker's tent for free but no free stuff beyond that but it will be air conditioned. I am probably looking at going around 6:30a to 9:00a.

Rodney Carpenter and James Patton were there also , but they were getting crap faced in the pepsi cola corporate tent.

Carpenter was yelling obsenities to Rory Sabbatini and screaming one-liners from behind the crowd to various players. I can't believe he didn't get kicked out. Freaking funny stuff.

Well, I'm a little disapointed. :(...All you had to do is write "Dave Wise" and his phone # on a disc and chunk it from behind the crowd at Tiger and the world of DG would have come to the PGA. Surely between the 4 of you "ball cleaners" you could have planned your escape route before hand.....****!!! :mad:...Another missed opportunity down the drain. :( .... Do we have to send Kevin to do everything?....:confused: :D
