Randy has dropped to 5th place, 14 storkes back after three rounds.
The leader in the division is running away with it. He is rated at 977 and now has 11 stroke lead over 2nd place after just 3 rounds. :o

Wow!!!....I didn't know Hutchinson was playing. I thought he just went up there to sell plastic in the parking lot.

Must not be Hutch, there will be NO sales going on in the parking lot or at the finals or any where else. The tournament said it was too much trouble to get a tax stamp.
Needless to say there are some VERY unhappy vendors that traveled a long way to get there.
They were only allowed to sell at the flymart last night.

Are you telling me the Milwaukee club never applied for non-profit status? That is something they should have done a LOOOOOONNNNGG time ago. It's an easy process, you fill out the application and wait for approval, any disc golf club should have no problem getting approval. When Kevin and I presented our bid to the PDGA in at the 05 Memorial I remember Terry was their presenting the Milwaukee bid and product sales definetly came up in the conversation. The profit margin is going to suffer and I bet the vendors are hacked off. That's too bad, I hope Joe and all the other vendors were able to sell a load of stuff at the fly mart.

Its not the not for profit filings, its that they didn't want to get a tax permit so that merchandise could be sold at the finals like we did here. Joe told me that some of the vendors last year, made as much, if not more on that Saturday at the park than they did at the fly mart.
I also heard that their course maps weren't even requested to be done until a week or two before the event. Sounds like there was a lot of stuff that slipped through the cracks.
Like setting up challenging courses. :o
the funniest one I can think of is they didn't have pencils for the first round. :D

Ahhh hah...i bet there is some host hotel parcking lot sales going on :D

That would depend on which Host Hotel you are talking about.
That was another FUBAR. They changed one of the host hotels to another location because it was in the ghetto but forgot to mention it to anybody that had reserved a room there. :o
And I'm sure there is some prking lot sales going on at that hotel.
Crackilin Hos! :D

****...sounds like one heck of a frenzy going on over there.
The construction at i-44 and yale was the only problem with our host hotel...now it looks like a million bucks, the texas turnaround is pimp!

Twisted One,
Stay focused, you know what is in front of you. These holes are straight forward, drive, and, MAKE the putt. You are there, get to the A pool, make semis, and see where the chips land.
Peace

HEY! Tulsa spoiled us at Am Worlds last year!!
The Twisted 1 is doing good- sorry I didn't represent very well- but I am still smiling (and drinking REAL beer, that helps!).
The course books are very basic and according to the book, every hole is straight! They made the books, but they really offer nothing more than how long the hole is.
Melissa- Jennifer Beazley was in a terrible accident on her way to Worlds. I just got on the phone with Sue Mac and she said Jen still in hospital- she is going to go see her tomorrow-her son (4) and niece (6) were killed instantly. Please keep Jennifer and Niel in your prayers.
(See Houston Flying Disc Golf Society link for more information).

Here is a copy of the email I received from Sue Mac today:
"I got to go to Austin over the weekend and visit with her. She's in good
spirits, and seems to have a peace about her with regards to loosing Jozie.
She knows he's with God and in a better place.
She is expected to be released in about a week, and will be staying with her
Mom in Leakey during her rehab.
Will keep you girls up to date. The outpouring of love and concern has been
overwhelming, and makes me proud to be a part of the disc golf community as
a whole."

Well, our two local boys that are there, Johnny Thompson and Taylor Sears are holding their own in the doubles competition.
They are only 29 strokes out of the lead and holding on strong for the DFL spot. :o:o:o
