Why the heck is it so hard to find the current competition manual?

Shouldn't there just be a link to it on the rules page?

I think the only way I found it was to do an outside google search

3.1.A All tournament players must abide by the information
given in the PDGA Competition Manual and the PDGA
Rules of Play. Any player in non-compliance may be
disqualified, or may not be allowed to participate in the
tournament at any time.

But if it is impossible to find the competition manual, how should I be held responsible for anything that it says beyond what the actual rule book says?

From the home page, click on the link for "2007 PDGA TD/Tour Information (Updated 5/7/07)". The Competition MAnual is on that page.

Thanks. Not in any of the first 6 or 12 places I looked, like under

"Rules"
"PDGA Tour"
"Information"

I thought my best hope at finding it was under "Information" in the column labeled "PDGA Documents"

The column it is in, the first 6 items were all things like photo galleries and awards, so I stopped looking there...

The link on the information page to the tour information page has been missing for years.

Meanwhile, TDs everywhere are putting their fingers in their ears and singing the national anthem...

I sent almost exactly that same message to the PDGA website contact the week before pro worlds, and received a reply that it was a good suggestion and likely would be implemented. However, it has yet to be done.

Yet another example of something that should be sent to the PDGA directly and not just posted on the MB... curious if people realize that that "contact" page is there? (not directed personally at the poster of this topic, just a general question)

Can this get added to the information page???

We are in the process of a complete redesign of the website including making the structure more logical so that the information you are looking for is easier to find. I have had the same problem locating that information as well, so I feel you pain. I will see if I can get the link added in the meantime.
