Here's your chance to play in the only equality based PDGA event this year. The U.S. Mid-Nationals in St. Louis, Sept 7-9. Your age, gender and am or pro status don't matter. All that counts is your rating to determine what division has competitors at your skill level. Follow in the footsteps of Karen Jaskolka who was the first woman to win a national title in a mixed gender field with her win at the 2005 Mid-Nationals. It's going to be a great time on some fine courses in a few weeks. There's no better place to showcase the equality PDGA ratings provides for all members. www.midnationals.com (http://www.midnationals.com)

Thanks Karen. I should have paid a little closer attention when posting. :oAre you and Chris going this year? Looks like you have a new division to conquer.

No problem. We won't be going to Mid Nationals this year. After a month long July trip for Worlds, we will be staying home for awhile. There is a possibility for a Mid Nationals trip next year.

The combination of the USDGC for Gold plus Mid-Nats for Blue, White, Red, Green and Purple divisions covered all members. Not having gold at Mid-Nats was always in deference to the USDGC and not duplicate offerings.

You say that like you believe it Chuck. All part of the illusion no doubt.

I just don't have recordings of the discussions about it with Hoeniger and Duvall back then. I think they're with the Nixon tapes.
