All that counts is your rating to determine what division has competitors at your skill level. No problem. We won't be going to Mid Nationals this year. After a month long July trip for Worlds, we will be staying home for awhile. There is a possibility for a Mid Nationals trip next year.

The combination of the USDGC for Gold plus Mid-Nats for Blue, White, Red, Green and Purple divisions covered all members. Not having gold at Mid-Nats was always in deference to the USDGC and not duplicate offerings.

I just don't have recordings of the discussions about it with Hoeniger and Duvall back then. I think they're with the Nixon tapes.
