The Quail Valley Classic 1 is this Saturday and I'm pretty stoked to check out the new course...plus the high is 54 and only a very slight chance of getting wet (besides the water on the course. Here's the map Course Map (http://www.nealdambra.com/KingQuailMap08.pdf) )

I noticed the dress code and rules about pull carts and what not....which made me wonder......Does anyone know if we can bring our tri-pod chairs?

This may be a little over the top but for the benefit of the entire future of DG at a private establishment that actually holds its membership to something called "standards" Here's the deal: Country Clubs are all about decorum. Think of Rodney Dangerfield in "Caddyshack" now that's class!! Definitely some of the membership don't like the idea of sharing their private club. If you look like Jed Clampett going to the back forty with his camp chair to shoot some vittles - "definitely not our cup of tea". If you look like Donald Trump out for a invigorating day of bird watching - "Ta, Don, enjoy!" /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I can confidently state that decorum in and around the club house must be maintained if we are hoping to be invited back :) or that these 3 awesome courses are to become permanent!!! :D :D:D

At this time, I believe anything neat in appearance will be fine. I plan on bringing mine. But since the topic has been raised, I will check into it and if a decision is made I will advise.

Steve and Berry's (sp) is the answer to all your shirt needs :D....I found these shirts made by "Bubba Golf" :cool:I know that is a selling point all in itself butttt they are 4.99-8.99 and actually fit, perform, and look rather nice I picked a few up along with some starberry's (new balance look alikes...also great)

Kinda like dri fit material but thin bubba golf (http://www.bubbawatson.com/home.html)

Should provide an alternative to expensive stuff :D:cool:

I went to the Quail Valley CC website to look this up....Here are the guidelines for Dress as stated on their website

"2.19 Attire.

1. It is expected Members will choose to dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere or their Club. It is also expected that Members will advise their guests of the dress requirements. From time to time, exceptions to the dress rules may be made as published by Owner.

2. Casual attire in good taste is the appropriate attire in the formal dining room. Shorts, jeans, and sports hats and caps are not permitted. Dress restrictions may be imposed or waived at the Owner's discretion for specifically designated events.

3. Shirts and shoes are required in the dining rooms and social areas of the club."

Hey smails! My dingy's bigger than your whole boat!

Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh?
[looks at Judge Smails, who's wearing the same hat]

Oh, this your wife, huh? A lovely lady. Hey baby, you must've been something before electricity.

You're a lot of woman, you know that? Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

Hey, doll. Could you scare up another round for our table over here? And tell the cook this is low grade dog food. I've had better food at the ballgame, you know? This steak still has marks from where the jockey was hitting it.

He called me a baboon, he thinks I'm his wife.

You demand satisfaction? Well I'll tell you what's satisfying: *cash*. I'll shoot you 18 holes for ten thousand bucks!
