As for the the neighborhood kids all I can say is that they are just a reflection of their parents and today's society in general that is trying to make up for the broken homes or separation of a family they experienced as children by taking no responsiblity for their own children and assuming society will forgive and do the parenting for them.

These kids weren't even 10 years old yet but I had the police talk to them and I even offered to drop them off in your neighborhood. Otherwise, I directed them to Hunter park for any future vandalizm when they get older. I'm sure you and the TDSA will forgive them of their sins in future as much as I have now.

Well since Dave has chosen to ignore my PM�s I�ve decided to post this here on his thread in hopes that maybe he will ignore this also.

Watching the Super Bowl made me wonder about the character that DW says I don�t have. Maybe he is right. I learned everything I know from him in the early days when I first logged into this board. I really didn�t care too much who won the game but I guess I rooted for the Giants because they were the underdogs and the Patriots have been there so many years before. Of course Marie is a Patriot fan and needless to say there was tension in the Moose lodge. When the Giants ended up winning in what was a great game at the end, I chose not to hoop and holler because I almost felt sorry for the Pats. The Russell Crowe piece before the game about the pursuit of perfection was very inspiring. I think everyone dreams of it in some ways but I do not think that is what the meaning of true character is.

Nothing against the Patriots but for their coach to run off the field before the final tic of the clock because he couldn�t deal with the upset was disrespectful to his team, his opponent, and the game in general. So I wonder if true character lay not so much in the pursuit of perfection but more in how one deals with their disappointments and losses in the spotlight of those around them. :confused:

When it comes to DG I�m just a hack and if being a hack means I have no character then so be it. :p
