It with great pride I announce the 5th Annual Twisted Tour. As with years past stops have been added or dropped from last year, I feel this schedule spreads the twistedness pretty fairly across the map.

Some events early on are E.D.G.E certified charity events. this means that you will be able raise money and assist young ones in discovering our great sport.

Other events are SOUTHERN NATIONALS QUALIFIERS. The SN Championships is going to be held in FT. Smith Arkansas this year so here are a few chances to qualify without traveling very far.

ALL EVENTS HAVE BIG TIME HOLE IN ONES...

ALL EVENTS WILL BE AS TWISTED AS IN THE PAST IF NOT MORE!

According to my math if you hit the big ace at every Twisted event you could make an extra $57,500 in extra income. That would be one hell of a 1099 at the end of the year :o

Twisted1
Feb 15 2008, 12:39 PM
It will work out to 76,500.00 of total potential ACE CASH... That does not include ACE POOLS and event winnings.
There is one event earmarked for a Hole in One that is not confirmed yet.

It's time to bust a move at the Lodge Jam. The first of 2 back to back events! There is a $1500.00 hole in one and the carry over EDGE free discs for 5 years challenge. The event will support the EDGE foundation and is your last change to qualify for the Southern Nationals. The Taylor family have been working away getting the second course cut out and anticipate this being the first 2 course event on the property.

This is a nice addition to the "Oklahoma Party Series" of Duncan and ChandlerStock. Plenty of room to camp, great food close by , great friends and good times.

Sign ups are on now in the pro shop!

Anyone know if the new course is ready to be played. I am thinking of going up to the Taylors this weekend to play it if it is ready. Actually, I think I'll go anyway...it has been too long. Anyone not playing the Dovillio double on Saturday interested in venturing to the lodge.

We were at the Lodge yesterday. We saw the new course, it is almost ready to be played but the baskets wont be there until later. Bring your A game or youre in for a long round. I am sure the big boys will love it.

The original course is looking so green and lush. The island hole is still as awesome as ever and the Taylors are always very welcoming. Place is looking good and we are in for a great event.

Twisted1 has something up his sleeve for the ams as well.....stay tuned.

I just saw that this is only Saturday, with the exception of the Sunday Twisted Dubs. Is there any Friday dubs going on? I was planning on camping Friday, but I guess if there isn't dubs Friday night, I'll wait to come up until Saturday morning

There will be BYOP Dubs (bring your own partner)$20.00 a team (5.00 goes to green fees)we will be out there Friday around noon. Jim and his gang have the camp ground dialed in and I have heard rumor of "shennanigans" going on.

That had to be the most fun I have ever had playing two rounds of golf. The group I had, Joe, kelDog, Big Dan Bougher and we had the mule to caddie us around. The mule was the difference in me playing or not playing. No way I could have walked that second round.

Great job on the new course. I will be driving to Pawhuska a little more often as soon as the second course baskets are in.

Thanks Jim and Family for having us out for the weekend. And a HUGE thanks for bringing the dozer out to pull us out of the hole we seemed to find on #9. :D
If Bougher hadn't been in the back we would have made it. :o

Thanks Joe, Jim, the entire Taylor family, the Treats and everyone else.
That one definately goes down in the memory book to be talked about again and again in the years to come. :D

For those of you that may have never played the infamous Mitch Mac course, you are misssing out. A great lay out, that will require every trick in your bag. Easy to walk, lots of shade and LOTS of cedar trees.
I know its hard on a holiday weekend but you need to make plans for next year, it is WELL worth the trip. :D

Mitch does it right, giving away cash and prizes before every round, he added over a $1,000 cash to the pros! We even had a poker run that was a blast the first day. 4 holes were pre-selected. If you birdied or aced one of those holes, when you got to the next tee pad there were a box of envelopes. You just wrote your name on an envelope and dropped it in a slot. In the envelopes were playing cards, the more birdies you got on those holes the more cards you got to play with.
You had a total of 8 chances at a card. Was a lot of fun and Steve King won it, he got $125 for the poker run. Not bad for $5 investment. :D

Thanks Mitch, Joe Rotan, Jerry Power, Steve King and anyone else that helped bring this event to the players.
I have already told the family that next year I'm going back. ;)

The McClellan Classic was a success. Mitch Mac had cash and merchandise giveaways before every round. Added cash, added merch, ring of fire, out of state bounty and all kinds of extras made this event better than ever. 64 players started the event and with temperatures the high 90's and the sun scorching, not all of them chose to finish. Bill Yardsale Sheely was not the only lucky ace, Jack Wilson hit the "Lifetime Entry to the Mac Classic" hole, two rounds to late. He did get half the ace pot and a free entry to next years event. Steve Dig King won the Poker Run for $165 I think. Thank you to everyone who showed up and played. Thanks you Jerry Power for the technical work...again. Hope to see you again at this event next year.
