The only reason you're going to this deal is to suck butt on Keldog and Mr Twisted so that maybe they will invite you to be their personal "fluffer" at this year's USDGC. :o

All the one's I directed were in need of direction. I helped direct Winsworth right into the creek on his first two shots at # 14 red. ;)
If you had been trying to hit the shoreline instead of deliberately trying to hit me then you wouldn't have hit the water on the pond.
And by the way, I believe you took an extra shot on # 13 on Sunday just to try and hit me in the parking lot.
You better hope Andrew doesn't find out. :o:D

It wasn't an extra shot. I had already informed my group and the group behind us that if Sammy nailed his drive I was going for the side of your turck, since it was parked right in the lefty line but I shanked it. :(
There were 11 other people on the tee pad, all cheering me on. :o:D

Ok, purposely throwing a disc to cause personal injury to an innocent bystander during a PDGA event. :(
I'm reporting you and the 11 guys that cheered you on for unsportsmanlike conduct in an effort to cause bodily harm to the public in general.
I think that might qualify for disqualification and forfeiture of all winnings. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Wrong again, Hairball. I said I was aiming at your truck, of which you parked there, knowing a disc tournamnet was in progress. This would remove you as an innocent bystander. :o:p

Mar 18 2008, 06:44 PM
There are no innocent bystanders at a disc golf tournament! :D
Every one is guilty by association, :o
even the fishermen were without a licence to fish.
Well maybe the discs are innocent, at lest until they turn flippy and anti in the wrong direction and then they are the most guilty things at the tournament! :(

My truck was like 100 feet away and I parked it there because I was spotting for the PRO's who normally can throw over and past 100 feet, not wimpy skippy in 25 ft short. :p
I guess the safest place to park it when you're throwing is right in front of the basket. :o
Does this mean your nice new Avalanche is open game?
You might want to get ready for..."Sorry Dave but your vehicle was parked in the "shank" zone." ;)

Hey buddy. I was the one that called that card into question because I was counting something different then what was turned in. You guys need to learn to write. :p
And as far as you throwing into my truck?...Look at it this way, if I see that it's going to hit my truck then I'm going to knock it down before it even gets there no matter what DG tourney is going on. You think I'm going to take a dent in my truck for your ratings? :p
twoputtok
Mar 18 2008, 07:09 PM
Doug, this is from the Ark thread this afternoon.
Dont know if anyone has been to course today but almost every hole is under water. Some tees are under 24" of water. The "Island" bridge is under a foot of water. Ryan and I are headed out to document the Flood. Should we start "thinking" of postponing the Grand Opening Tournament? Would we want to showcase the course in this condition? Thoughts??

I saw a 4, Red saw a 4, and if I had shown the card to Carla, she would have seen a 4. I don't know what kind of payoff or personal service you gave to Andrew but he told me yesterday that he just saved money by switching his health insurance to Allied. Imagine that.

Well...
I was very happy to finish 2nd.
If you would have asked me half way through the fist round, I would have thought I was at the bottom of the pack.
But it ended up better than that.
Big shout out to Eric Bailey who played solid golf all day.
It was great fun playing with Bailey and Heath and everyone!
I really dig the course, of course it was muddy, but it was really enjoyable.
For anyone who goes to Arkansas very often, this course is a must play.
Great job Kelly and Joe! This was yet another smooth and enjoyable event.
P.S.
How long did it take for the Doves to come back after the grand opening ceremony?
That was a first for me! :D

The doves... all 60 of them... flew home shortly after the opening. I saw a few in the air about an hour or so after the first round started. The guy said they usually get back in 9 hours. I thought it was cool to see... can't wait to see some pictures.
The club did a great job getting all of the City Officials and council out to the event. Mayor Bob is going to be great for Disc Golf in that area. He is on board as are the locals. All sorts of people were coming out asking questions, spectating and quite a few of them bought a Roc or A Buzzz to try out. I can't express what a cool course and vibe they have going out there. I will definately be back to play it.
A special thanks to the Reisner family, the Senn family, the Whitleys , The Boughers, The Baileys , the Phat Tire posse, MULCH MILITIA and my new roommates The Watson family . I appreciate everyone that participated or assisted... it adds to that twisted flavor!
Congratulations to the winners!
