I'm just curious if anyone out there knows what the world's longest 2 might be? I believe Kenny threw some 1,000+ foot hole 40 feet past it and made the comback 2...
I ask because I parked a (laser sighted) 1,205 foot hole yesterday at Jim Cannon's Deer Mountain course yesterday. Must have missed acing it a foot??? Anyone know of any longer 2?

Perhaps you are thinking of Scott Stokely deucing a 1600-foot hole at Kiss the Sky in Aspen many years ago?

Dang, then I guess he has me beat. Par is 3...serious downhill shot, though the rest of my card got 4's and 5's, and the two cards behind me all carded 4 or higher (with one 3??)
Every hole is reachable on the course yet the current record, held by 4 people, is par 66 (22 hole course.)

Hole 18 at Solitude in Utah is just over 1200 ft (1219 maybe...) when it is in the normal long pin. For the A-Tier they put a temp. basket another 100-150 feet longer in the open field for the last round. It is in the 1325-1375 ft range. Avery threw it to 20 feet and made the birdie. I have seen a few other shots fairly close, but he was the only one close enough to not choke the putt. It is a tough putt to make because it takes you 15 minutes or more to get to your lie. You have a very long time to think about how cool it would be to birdie that hole to finish the tournament. :o:D
