Think of doing a glow mini out at Nani. Does anyone know what time the park closes?

I'm down for a GLOW Mini. :cool: San Antonio Parks are closed from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

For those that haven't played night golf, you should. It is FUN!

Here is a good website that details how to get your discs ready (http://www.nightdiscgolf.com/). I'll be putting glow lights in all of the baskets. The best approach I've found is to get the very small LED lights used for fishing bobbers and duct tape them to the underside of your Elite Z or Champion plastic discs. You can tape them to the top of the other plastics too, it doesn't effect them that much. Send questions my way.

This is the night before the HOTT tourney in Dripping Springs at Twin Parks. Just letting you know.

Thanks for the heads up. I wish it had been on the PDGA website under tourneys. Still on for the 5th unless there is an overwhelming response not to play that night.

Team Caca threw Nani at night a few weeks ago. Neighborhood kids were stealing the glow sticks off of the baskets before getting chased off. Not too bright...

Also, the skeeters were out and about on the fairway, so bring bug spray with you.

I plan to dip the glow sticks in Guatemalan Insanity Pepper juice prior to the round so if those kids try to steal them they'll be in for a treat :)

Hopefully Gustav doesn't rain on our parade ... wait ... night golf in the rain ... SWEET!

Hopefully they'll cut the grass before then. It was ankle high in most places and shin high in patches Sunday. :p

Maybe Paul can run his lawnmower over it this week when he cuts his backyard. :D

I changed the meeting location to hole 5.

I just got an email from the SAPAR. NANI should be mowed either tomorrow or Thursday. The rain had put the contractors behind by about 4 days. It is great to have a neighborhood that also cares about the course and emails questions to the staff. Neighborhood communities can do wonders.

Alright ... its about that time again to get some more glolf in (That's GLow frOLF).

Soliciting input ... would people rather play early on a week night like start at around 6:30-7:00 on Wedneday or a Friday night?

We should think about running a Glow Mini once or twice a month on Fridays. I will be able to help run some of these starting December 5th if we do them on Fridays. :) I say we tee off between 6:00-6:30 PM. Parks we could use: Nani, Old Pearsall, Live Oak and UC. :cool:

I voted for Fridays.

FYI ... looks like SADC won't be running a glow mini in Novmeber :( ... just too much other things going on ... but stay turned for a Glow League starting in December playing once or twice a month at different courses :D. Orlando will provide some more details soon.
