I'm working on some mapping projects for the PDGA using Course Directory data, and need to find out some approximate install dates for some courses in Colorado. Can anyone tell me the year that the following courses were installed?

E-Z Yoke Ranch, Beulah
Colorado Mountain College, Leadville
Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA, Tabernash
Hillside at CMC, Steamboat Springs

Also, there were some courses listed in the 1986 Course Directory that are long gone. Would you happen to know the years they were installed and removed?

Memorial Park, Arvada
Grateful Disc Golf Course, Colorado State University, Fort Collins
The Three C's - Miller's New Horizon, Fraser

the new horizon course was pulled around 1997? development issues. and it was in the ground since the early eighties. sorry cant be more specific.

Memorial Park in Arvada is Johnny Roberts Memorial. It was redesigned several years ago, and still VERY active. I'll post a link to this thread on the Mile High forum, where folks actually read the forums and might get you a response.

The Grateful Disc Course was washed away (literally) in a nasty flood in 97'. Then redesigned to 9 until 02', then 7 holes to 03'-04'. And then some rich girl's dad sued CSU for negligence b/c she got hit with a disc and it was pulled in 04'. Now Ft collins is down from three 18 hole courses to one :(

Memorial Park course originally set up as an object course from 1976 Tom Carey) for the Harvest Festival Tournament and modified through the years - 1993. When baskets were put in the course and was officially dedicated as Johnny Roberts Disc Golf Course at Memorial Park and has been referred to as Johnny Roberts Course since. After long discussion with Cliffe Towne PDGA course directory caretaker He officially would recognize it being installed in 1978. Thats my story and I'm sticking with it Wink

Gramma Miller's New Horizon First tournament was 1978 and last event was the 20th annual in 1998.

The Grateful Disc Course was first done in 1977 pulled in ??? (working on this).

I think the CMC Leadville course was 2000.

Snow Mountain Ranch first tourney 2004.
