Well, I went in still not knowing who to vote for today.
They were ready for me the second I walked in, signed by my name (showing my picture ID) went over to get may ballot.
Picked the Paper Ballot of course because the HART machines Denton Co uses do not leave a paper trail. (I made this point loudly to the Election Judge handing them out)
went over and started to vote.
No straight party ticket this year.
I had to skip the president section because I was still not sure.
I then came to the Senate race.
Big John Cornyn, Noriega or Schick???????
Well Big John voted for the bailout. X
Noriega is good on 2nd amendment and is a pretty conservative Democrat, but he believes in Amnesty X
Yvonne Schick, made a comment in the debate of how she was not happy with how the Bob Barr campaign has treated Ron Paul
She got my vote.
Congress, Kenny Marchant earned my vote back by voting against the Bailout.
After that, I voted to keep all the Supreme Court guys in place because of the FLDS rulling (and other ruling they made recently that I can't remember off the top of my head)
I did vote of a few Libertarians against Republicans when that was the only two choices.
I voted against both Bond's because now is not the time and I don't like mortgaging our future.
Then I had to go back to the Presidential side.
What to do,
Well, I pledged a few weeks ago to NOT vote for any candidate that voted for the Bailout
That eliminated Obama and McCain
I do not want to vote for anyone who will push though another Amnesty bill
That eliminated both Obama and McCain
I do not want to vote for anyone who will send our troops into another country that is not a direct threat to our country. (no policing the world)
That eliminated Obama and McCain
I do not want to vote for a candidate that wants to expand the Federal Government
That eliminated Brian Moore, Obama and McCain
So now I was down to Bob Barr or a write in Candidate.
I was about to write in Thaddaus Hill, then thought again about voting for Chuck Baldwin. (the Ron Paul endorsed Candidate)
In the end, I just filled in Bob Barr and left. Even though he is my least favorite candidate to ever vote for in the presidential slot ever, at least he was talking my points and making them known.
So again, I voted to send a message to the Republican Party that I will not support more BIG government candidates.

Another step forward for free thinkers!
I wrote in Foghorn Leghorn.
I did vote for Big John regardless of the bailout.

For all the excitement here in Cali this year the wife and I walked right in at 8:30am, voted and were out of there in 5 minutes at our local polling place. Slightly heavier traffic than usual said the officials, and expectations of more.
We Left Coasters are awaiting clarification of many things.

Despite all the ridicule that's bound to come from angry judgemental people that won't be open minded enough to see we've taken a step in the right direction, the new President shows in his face he knows it's going to be a long haul and he's hoping America really wants to win for it's children.
