There is a new course in Fort Worth at Whitfill Park. This park is located extremely close to Crowley. 18 holes and baskets are already in the ground. More details later.

Huh!?!?! Who installed it? Did it just spontaneously appear? The city of FW doesn't even know about the park according to their list of 228 city parks. (http://www.fortworthgov.org/uploadedFiles/Parks_and_Community_Services/Park_Information_and_Reservations/WebListNew.pdf) Still very cool though.

I sent an email to the homeowners assoc that manages the homes right by the park.. It might not be a city park...

talked with the fort worth parks department this morning and they told me that they didn't even know about the park. They think that the developer in the area put the course in. The city of Fort Worth is doing some research on this park and will contact me when they have more info.

I figured so. Cool nonetheless.

Visited the park and ???????? This what happens when someone randomly puts baskets in a mesquite field. I guess you throw from basket to basket?? wanna see for yourself?
go west on crowley/cleburne rd to poynter, go right park is a couple of blocks down on right. looks to me like it never gets played and it has been there a while. What a waste.

The course that Kenedale is putting in will probably be the same thing :confused: Designed by a developer that "has done this kind of thing before"!
