This is a thread about all happenings with the Lake Reidsville Disc Golf Club. We have a monthly Bag Tag Challenge Event on every last Saturday of the month. The next one is scheduled for March 28th at 1pm.

Bag Tags are available for $2 if you came to the 1st Annual Lake Reidsville Open and $3 if you are new to the club and our events. We have 50 of them, so if your local, please show your support and get a Lake Reidsville Bag Tag.

Please make it out. We will post the schedule of Bag Tag events soon! Remember every last Saturday! We will have a $5 entry fee to these events and will have payouts for Pro and Ams divisions. Optional Ace Pool.

Lake Reidsville Ice Bowl - March 1st

We had 10 people brave the sleeting weather and cold winds on Sunday, and we able to get 7 Bag Tags in play.

We raised $72 dollars for the Reidsville Teen Center and everyone that came out recieved a DX disc and a prize.

Thanks to all that came out and braved the conditions. Top 5 finishers are below. Dave took #7 bag tag, as he was not sure if he could make future bag tag events and did not want to take #1, so I took if by default to get it in play. All challenges are welcome if you see me at a course near you.

Wish I could of made the final round at Zeb, cause I would of put it up. I may try to get a morning round in on this Sunday...perhaps horizons, j st, or reidsville if your down?

Dont think I can make the Triad Bag Tag on the 21st (got a kegger to attend for the tourney), but I may make the one on the following Thursday (26th). I will have my tags at Lake Reidsville on the 28th.

I got #3 at Lake Reidsville (won yesterday at Yadkin County against Doug and Audi) and #4 with the Triad Disc Golf Club.

It looks like we are going to have most of the bag tags in play on the 28th for Lake Reidsville, there are only 19 left (that mean 31 are distributed), so get in while you can.

Hey Tyson,

Going out to lake Reidsville today to play it for the first time. Leaving at 3:30 should be there around 4:00. Think you're down? Is the course easily followed, or do I need a guide?

Shot even in the rain at Lake Reidsville from the longs (where optional). The course is nice and challenging, great use of tight fairways and length to make a true par 66 course!

Can't wait to play it next Saturday for the bag tag monthly!

We had beautiful weather yesterday and some pretty good shootin, as well. Larry Ellis shot a hot 65, beating me by 1 (66) and Doug Cline by four (69). We swapped tags and Larry has #3. Good shootin Larry.

That is this Saturday @ 1pm! $5 Entry, try to car pool as it cost $2 to park a car at the park. Bring you bag tags, I got about 6 or 7 still available.

I got #3 and I know #1 is planning on being there. All tags are game, with you challenge being the $5 entry fee. In other words, I am going to still win the money and get my tag back, at least that is the plan.

I would like to thank everyone for showing up on Saturday. We had a bunch of locals that could make it and many club members at the PDGA in Richmond. Still we had about 1/5 of the club there (9 of the 45 members). Hope you will try and make it out to the next monthly, and please spead the word about our facalities.

$60 per team the day of

Top three teams will get paid out.

1st place recieves 60% of payout and 6 star disc

Come out and get some doubles in tomorrow for Tuesday Twillight Doubles at Lake Reidsville. $11 entry, huge Ace Pool, good times.

We will tee around 5:50pm, register at 5:30pm, we will be at shelter #1 and will shorten a few holes to make sure we finish.
