Down 4 points to 857 - BLARGH.
I think my last two tournaments will probably bump me up to about 870 - been playing really good. Unfortunately, they aren't on this update...

Sure is nice this time of year when you move up in rank just because of all the unapproved/non current members that don't show on the list.
Anyway the top ten shook up a bit and it will be an exciting season if you ask me.

When a round gets a year old it falls off, correct?

a year old to your last tournament played. So if your last tournament played that made the update was the memorial (3/7/09) than anything from 3/7/08 and before will be dropped. But all rounds of the tourney have to be before that date. I have bother memorials on mine since last years was 3/6/08-3/8/08 and this years was 3/5/09-3/7/09. Missed dropping last years by one day. Make sense?

I don't know if someone started this topic already for the September update, but oh well. With less than 24 hours left until the update I'd like to predict my new rating.
Currently 940, predicting 945
Had some early rounds drop off to give me a little boost.

I see it was merged with March's post. Nice.
Anyway, I was right, up 5 points to 945.

I know it's early but I have no more rounds before the next update so I'm predicting I go from 945 to 955.

we have a 4 man team coming up in tulsa with a ratings cap of 3700.
from arkansas to kansas to texas to oklahoma every body is waiting for the update.
the venue for this event is the lodge at taylor ranch in pawhuska.
last year we capped at 18 teams of four players.
this year there is no cap on teams.
the suspense is killing us as well.
if your interested see flyer at tulsa disc sports on this discussion board.

Well, I officially got robbed. :) I thought I finally shot my first 1000 rated round, but officially it went down to 997. Grr.
Anyway, my rating went from 945 to 957, can't complain about that.

My buddy, who just played his first 2 PDGA events in September, starts off his rating with a 996! He threw a 1049 round, a 1012, a couple sub 1000's and a 943. If I can get him to start touring a little I think he's gonna be someone to watch out for!

I am now a 947, without a 1000 rated round. Interesting thing, I had a round thrown out that was too low, that is less than 40 points below my rating. Also, the different between the highest and lowest rounds used for my latest rating is only 41 points. I would wager that is a fairly small number compared to most.
So I am consistently mediocre :~

Chuck, for the Points Bonanza IV Sugar Creek, June/09, I tied for first place, not second. Easy to see based on the scores, which are accurate. Can you modify it and adjust the points earned? The fact that the TD needed 4 months to get it submitted may be the primary factor for this.

If a first place tie is broken (which is required), you only get points for second not first. No different from second place getting second place cash or merch value when a first place tie is broken. Of course, it's a split for all other positions (except trophies) since those are not supposed to be played off (except for trophies).

Down again!!!!
Seems like ive platowed for averages but ive played some much better rounds this year with the more than occasional blow up.
Maybe next year i can eliminate some of those sub 900 rounds.
